今年より拠点を京都から滋賀県蓬莱へ移した清水志郎さんの当店二回目の茶壷個展を開催します。
2年前の展示は清水さんが各地で掘った10種類ほどの土で作られた茶壺を展示しましたが、今回は焼くことに焦点を当て、各地の土でロクロ成形された茶壺を蓬莱の登り窯で焼成することにチャレンジします。
登り窯の一の間だけを使い、茶壷だけを焼くという贅沢な企画です。さやに入れず裸のまま火の試練を受けた違う土の茶壷はどんな表情を見せてくれるか、ぜひ見ていただきたいです。

We are proud to announce to new teapot exhibition by Shiro Shimizu from Sep.17 to Sep. 22.
In the last exhibition Shiro san made teapots with 10 types of clay he digs from different places in Japan. This time he will focus on firing and challenge to fire by climbing kiln located in Hourai, Shiga prefecture, where shiro san moved to from Kyoto this year.
Using only one room of the climbing kiln and firing teapots only, we welcome you to see what expression the teapots with different clays will show us after being fired directly without saggar.

2002 祖父・清水卯一の下で制作する
2005 父・清水保孝の下で制作する
2010 土を掘り始める
2012 炭のミニ窯を自作する
2013 松ヶ崎に独立する
2014 掘った土で作ることを宣言する
2018 蓬莱登り窯に22年ぶりに火を入れる
2020 蓬莱に仕事場を移す
2021 大土友展開催
2022 拠点を京都から滋賀へ移す
